Hey all.
just before christmas i went up to double island point. A little before that i decided to spray the underneath of the ute with fish oil. The problem i have now is that all the sand has stuck to the fish oil and its a prick to get off. Ive gernied multipul times, sprayed car wash, degreaser then thinners under there before hitting it with the gernie and theres still heaps there. Anyone got any suggestion? I dont expect it to rust as the fish oil should protect it and the salt would have gone ages ago, but im a bit anal bout it caz it makes it a nasty job to do anything. Should i leave it and hope it eventually comes off or get under there with a rag and diesel and start scrubing away or sand it back and paint with chassis black?
Also what does everyone do to there rigs to prevent rust? Electronic rust protection? Wax?
Cheers guys
Aaron
