Buying aftermarket parts for a patrol.
What is the best supplier?
Air lockers
bull bars
lift kits
dual batteries
draw systems
winches
snorkel
Is there a site/supplier that sells all this stuff for a good price?
i've been building asierra for a while and thinking of gettin a patrol.
there was heaps of stuff for the sierra's in the states and was much easier and cheaper than buyin over here.
Is it the same for the patrol

Heath & Melissa - 93 GQ LWB.
I would use Suspension Stuff for suspension stuff myself and I'm not biased. As others have said, Patrols are not popular in the states, I get emails from guys in the US.
Cheers

I am in sydney and the prompt shipping of products and the constant following up he does from point of sale to reciving and after is great.
Its not cool, unless it's got boost :)
Really need abit more info of what you want your car to end up doing. As there are a large number of varibles.
But heres some ideas for you.
What is the best supplier?
Air lockers - ARB, TJM for Air locking diffs, Detroit or lockright for auto unlocking.
bull bars - Off the Shelf ARB, TJM both do Alloy and steel winch or non winch. If you are after a tube style bar. Nmae your location and I am sure we could point out a place in your area that builds them.
lift kits- Lots of varibles in this one and what you want your suspension to do. From $100/cnr for shocks upto $4000/cnr. I like Konis been running them for years and been very happy. But they aint a $100 shock either.
dual batteries- there all very similar in what they do. You just need to work out if you want a cranking batt or a deep cycle as the AUX. Also what sort of quality in the AUX batt. I like the std $130 NZ70ZZL by most manufactures. They seem to last awhile. I dont think theres a need for the fancy spiral cell things.
draw systems- Really comes down to how much you want to spend. Just remember if your going to have a fridge fitted. If you are planning of having it ontop of the draws. Just think how hard it will be to get stuff out of it.
winches- Most will say buy Warn, as even a crap warn is better than a chinese winch. You will have to do some searching on that one. I have ran PTO's and they have been fantastic. More than one 500m winch and no flat batts.
snorkel - off the shelf there are only 3, Safri (sold thru ARB), Airflow(I think sold thru TJM) and Airtec. I had a Safri in a GQ and it worked well and looked good.
Alot of people are fitting custom snorkles these days, most use alloy tube around 4"dia. But they are also trying to get the most power out of there cars.
Hope some of that helps.
