For a two inch lift you don't buy new torsion bars - much easier than that - just wind them up!

im sure one of the more knowledegable members will correct me but i dont see how new ones would be better? wind your old ones up, and if they sag just reindex the bars and wind them up again

To get 2" lift for NH pajero, will cost you between $800 - $1500 dollars dependant on where you go, unless you have or are going to fit a big bullbar with a winch there is no need for new torsion bars unless they are damaged, just wind them up to match the rear 2" lift.

I have the TJM XGS Kit cost me $1200 installed with heavy duty rear springs, only get the heavy duty stuff if you are going to be towing or have lots of gear in the back otherwise you are just wasting money and it will limit your rear flex...

Good luck mate, best way to get legal lift is to do 2" suspension and then either whack on 31's or if your game 33's fit nice just remember what they will do to your fuel economy......gone..... hehehehe

Have fun!

Gday,

What year Pajero do you have? I have a '94 NJ Pajero 2.8TD on 31's and am not sure if i have a lift either. Any chance you could send me the measurements? Or anyone else?

Thanx, Thomas

ahhh not quite mate, have a crawl under and suss it out, towards the rear of the bar is where all the adjustments are made u simply wind the bolt up to raise it or lower it to lower ur paj,

thanks guys that really helped me out i ordered my springs from repco my mate hooks me up good got them for $150 they are king springs i dont need super heavy dutys cuz i want it to flex good

im winding up the torsion bars i sussed it out and itll work fine as you said just getting long travel shocks front and rear they are about $200 an end from my mate so its not going to set me back much

so $550 has got my pajero lifted and i already have my 31 muds ill post some pics up when its done cant afford the shocks just yet so maybe next week
