80 series wagon auto floor pan t/bar, and consol getting hot

My 80 and nearly everyone that I have been in is like this. My transmission is regularly serviced and operating correctly. There is apparently little insulation on the tunnel and also the exhaust is close to the floor. There have a few posts in the past in regards to this with different fixes. Try some decent floor insulation (sound and heat) and add heat sheilding under the floor also move the exhaust.

Yep same thing with ours, ours is also a 4.5lt petty auto.
When I had the XGT lightforce spotties on the front it was way hotter then it gets now with only the 170's on the front.
Gets even hotter when towing the hilux.
Has been the same for the 5 or 6 years we have owned it and have never had any problems with it.
But yes it gets very hot, lucky the AC works well
