Did I miss something?

Just went through the teams on the TTC website and there was no Team OPW.

Is Pete running? Is his rig ready? Anyone got an inside scoop?

Telling Times!

With the TTC09 field of hopefuls about to hit the 40 mark and only week to go before the close of nominations, it’s going to be a pretty exciting seven days! Previous years have seen huge numbers of nominations received, just in time for the nomination cut off.

With all this in mind, it’s pretty much expected that record number of nominations will be received for TTC09 ballot. So, if you’re up for the challenge of competing in the Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge of 2009, don’t delay! Remember, the cut off is 02/02/09.

In the meantime, voting slips are literally pouring in and those prospective TTC competitors who learnt lessons from the voting process in 2008, are touting themselves to whoever will listen to get more valuable votes in. The carrot dangling in front of their noses is not just making the cut – they are jostling for a good spot in the field as well.

It’s also been confirmed that all three place-getters from TTC08 will take their place at TTC09, so who will fill the other 37 places on offer? It’s all up to you the voters… so get a move on and help your mates or favourite competitor along with your voting slips!

As for voting, well, the PO Box is looking pretty chock-a-block each time it is checked and voting is on in earnest. In early voting, the NSW teams have got bit of jump on the rest of the country, however the Queenslanders have vowed that they have an army behind them with a massive influence. The entrants from WA and Victoria have been a little slow out of the blocks but it’s expected that they’ll make up some ground in the next few weeks.

So, how do you do your part to vote in the best trucks and drivers in Australia?

Grab a copy of Dirtcomp Issue #15 and the current Australian 4WD Action, fill in the voting form you’ll find inside and post them in as fast as you can.

The Tuffest Trucks in the country are counting on you!

There all Very good and VERY capable Rigs ,from QLD

Some ole -school tech in some of which can lead to consistant points ...and then way on the other end of the scale with the others ....

A big Fan of Team Advanti the fricken look of this rig is bad ass ....

Bartso with stickys this year will prove to be hard to beat too ...

Barbie will hopefully keep it on all 4's this year .... :D but I still crack up every time I watch TT08 DVD where you quietly say . should of put a sticker on the bottom  ..im sure you will do well this year..

The Ole Mog rover is always going to be a performer ....tried and tested ;)

Long shot may have trouble seeing past his new motor  ...going to be insane cant wait to hear this beast ...

And Im sure Brooksy's handwork on the Skinner will work a treat ..keen to have a look over the fab work on this , the technical tube work is awesome

Team PIRATE are happy to be at the high end of the votes ....(at the moment) but im sure the big names will overtake us easily very shortly ...

im looking forward to see what other nominee's get in by the 2nd ?? ..to see just how important the voting will tunr out to be

I took a run up to the site today and had a look at some of the handiwork that has been going on on a few of the stages.
All I can say is that the mud is gonna GO OFF for the crowd, big time!
And I suggest getting in early to get a good seat near the end of the Devils Marbles. If anyone gets to the end of this they will be looking at some WILD lines to exit the course!!
Hopefully the PA changes we have put in place will be effective and worth the effort the boys are putting in.

See you all there!!

The thought crossed my mind but I didnt want people to think I only mentioned the mud because BBM are sponsoring it.

The BBM Motorsports Mudrats Revenge. It does have a nice ring to it!

yeah these things always take a few days to show up on the site.
i think 1 or 3 more entrants might show up...
but if its only for running order then bring it on...
should mean less waiting around if your near the top.
