Supercharging vitara 1.6 TBI

Post by mrRocky »

Well, i have a complete 4agze, computer, g/box ect... iam not going to use anymore, but cant seem to sell even for only $1000.
The missus just got an 8v carby 1.6 vitara with TBI fitted by the previous owner. Now it goes better than most sierra's ive driven in the sand, but i want a bit more power. You can probably see where this is going.
I can make brackets, pipes ect.. up to fit it but want to know if anyone has had a 1.6 with tbi on the dyno to see what the A/F's are.
The last thing i want is to run lean and blow it up the missus will kill me.
It wont be used very often, the plan is to hook it up to a switch and use it only on really steep dune climbs, it will also run an f/m/intercooler.
It goes fine on the beach as it is i just want to be able to keep up with my mates jeep up the really steep hills.
cheers mick
