which clutch?

Post by Pat Murray »

Hi all,
Am about to fit a warm ( Weber DGV, mild cam, headers) 1600 8V to my '87 NT Sierra. Which clutch should I use? Understand a 1.3 flywheel is required but should I only look at Vitara clutches or are 1.3 heavy duty units OK? Part no's would be really helpful! Cheers.

I'd be using the vitara 5 speed and a stock suzuki genuine vitara clutch.

The sierra clutch is smaller and I don't believe the vitara clutch will fit in the sierra bellhousing and the bigger clutch is a huge advantage. It also means no adapter plates/starter grinding etc.

Just my 2C.
