I need a set of ignition leads for the vitara, could only find a bosch set at super cheap and they were for a swift at $ 84.00
Any clues as to what brand to get and what to pay, $84.00 sounds like a hit to me, surely people arn't paying $20 a lead !
cheers

I had bosch leads and they cost about $40 or so from memory, really good boots on them, sealed well.

Just put some Top Gun leads in the 92 16V EFI model, it has the long boots that go down into the head. Yes they are expensive because of the long boots on the end. Couldn't say price bro got them from AutObarn for me as he works there. Its worth doing spark plugs whilst your there to.

Yes spent many hours digging out plastic bits with a scribe and vacuum cleaner with a smaller hose taped to it, I think that problem happens with most brands if not replaced often enough.joeblow wrote:...then find when you pull the lead out the plastic end is stuck to the spark plug....seen it way too many times.

Yep did that today, prick of a job digging out the ends, prick of a set up really, my other vitara has champion leads and the rubber ends are long gone, much easier to work on.MUD-PIGSIERRA wrote:Yes spent many hours digging out plastic bits with a scribe and vacuum cleaner with a smaller hose taped to it, I think that problem happens with most brands if not replaced often enough.joeblow wrote:...then find when you pull the lead out the plastic end is stuck to the spark plug....seen it way too many times.
