hey guys
i have a gq xtra cab thats getting built and i am at the point of looking at the sort shock setup i am going to use, mainly basing this question on what i am going to do with the front. the truck has a worked 383 chev, 5 link front end, high mount and tube bar so a little bit of weight.
i can go with say a twin shock setup with hydraulic bump stops or i can go with say a 2.5 king smoothie remote resevoir and then mayb the cost of hydro bump stops on top of that.
just stuck as to weather the kings are worth the extra money over the twin shock setup?
i am not looking at comping the truck atm like its not a dedicated comp truck it will be doing a lot of wknd work driven pretty hard.
just want to kno that what i am putting in i wont have to redo if i do say want to do some comp work with it.
i have used the search function but it does not seem to be working??

GQ PATROL WHAT SHOCKS TO USE? KINGS? TWIN SHOCKS??FOA's??
well i have FOA's, coilovers are good as u can adjust them to the type of driving u will be doing. More expensive obviously. Twin shocks will be good to take out that bounce, just gotta get the right coils to go with them. Theres still alot of comp gq's with normal front end (coils and shocks).
sounds like a nice gq tho u got, i wanna see it one day
