Putting extractors and 3" exhaugt on, good mod????

Post by Wadezz »

Hey All

Im wanting to put extractors and a 3" exhaust on my 80 series 1hz motor. just wondering what would be the best way to go i want it to sound real nice but also want it to give me maxium performace. not to sure how to go about this.

Also i have been told to do that and upgrade fuel pump?? i got no idea what to but they recon doing those 3 things can give you up to 33% more power is this true?

Thanks Wade

No point in doing any of that without a turbo mate.

Extractors don't really do a thing on the 1HZ

a 3" on a N/A 1HZ would sound like a big wet fart all the time, very unpleasant.

Fuel pump mods are very pricy and are only needed when you use some kind of forced induction.

This is what a good turbo setup could do to your 1HZ
