lift kit

Post by woznme »

ok i'm looking at ARB, TJM and EFS for my d22 Navara. all about the same money, also i going to stay with stock torsion bar as i have no bullbar on the ute. does that sound like a good choice? so of the 3 kits which is the one i should get. i'm leaning towards EFS as it has the best warranty of the 3. thanks. i've done a search but can't find the right info.

Dobinson gear is pretty good, even with the uprated torsion bars they still ride nice, my mates has one with an ally bar and its smooth as to ride in.

PM sent re prices

cheers

In my opinion the best setup is Lovells shocks for $440, adjust the Torsion bars and put an air assist kit in the rear $520 so you can give yourself a bigger then 2" lift when you want and also a more comfortable ride and the instructions come with the bags so you can fit them yourself.

Give yourself a wheel alignment and your done.

We normally fit the whole kit including wheel alignment for $1250.

appreciate the quotes, i'm not really into whats the best in suspendsion so i'm hoping someone else will tell me how Dobinson or Lovells gear is. i don't really want more then 2 inch so the air assist thingo isn't something i'd go for. can you 2 blokes send pm me a price for the (supply only) of the kit (as i reckon i can put it in) including and excluding torsion bar. thanks again and if anyone else with better knowledge then me help me make the right choice.

Lovells Shocks $440
Heavy Duty Dobinsons Leafs, U bolts, shackles, pins and rubber or poly bush kit. $600. We do highly recommend rubber bushes kits though for comfort and flex.
MaxiTrac Torsion Bars $350

All prices include freight.

For load carrying capacity and comfort the load assist kit is the better option.

How about that. While I'm busy sending stuff to Adelaide, Oondy is busy sending stuff up to Qld. Small world these days.

That's fine Oondy is a good dude. He sold a set of coils to a guy who was local to me and they had sagged. Slightly wrong coil for application. Anyway Oondy sent new coils out no probs, so if you did have any problems he would fix it.
