Just wondering bout suspension on navaras.
the patrol will be tougher vehicle and thus less likely to cost you more money.
but if your not going to push it hard off road the ifs will be fine.

Yer plus extra room in patrol would be handy lol, i'll be doing mainly muddy tracks and some rocky/steep tracks and occasional beach driving.
I do alot of highway driving tho since two sides of family live far apart. So many modded patrols on road tho thats why i wanted navara STR and i love the look of em.

The nav will do it, just not as easily. www.navara.asia - aussie navara forum

Depends how much lift you want. I did 2" lift myself with no cost involved to run 35x10.5 and 2" bodylift only cost me the blocks and bolts and now i run 35x13.5. Rear locker are available from ARB, Auto locker is about to come out for the front, i put a V6 front diff in mine(which was straight bolt in) so i could get a front air locker. There slowly becoming more popular offroad and more products are coming out. Just depends what you want to do. I keep up with the bigger patrols, you just cant redline it up stuff or you will break shit.

Oh k nice, im looking for 3" lift i think. I've seen snake racing or Superior Engineering have them, all depends on wat i have left over from $20k because thats max i can spend on car and mods. I probaly wont have much left over from 20k tho for good Navara ay? 3.0ltr Turbo all the way tho for me. Hows fuel ecconemy km/pL from standard tyres to them 35's ?
I get almost the same economy with the 35s as i do the 31's. IMO the 3" kit is waaaayyyyyyy overpriced for what your getting. better off getting just a 2" lift with new leafs, shocks etc. I busted my transfer chain before i did a cv so they can cope with the 2" torsion bar wind up.

Just about everyone makes em. I havent used one so cant give you any experience on it but heard the EFS go well with navs. Bodylift just get a kit off someone on here. Check out that navara site, got a bit on suspensions etc..more detail on the 35s in my build up on there or on 4wda

i can't help with body lift but 2" lift is fairly easy.BrentE wrote:Oh k sweet, wat brands make the Suspension kits for the D22? That 2" lift + 2" body lift will fit 35's?
the D22's come with crappy rear springs which sag fairly quickly. so fixing that by adding an extra leaf or changing the whole pack will also give you a 2" lift. then simply wind up front torsions to match.
if the shocks are getting sad you can change those to.
