Which way are you going? GQ cab on a MQ chassis or MQ cab on a GQ chassis

The bolt points locating the cab to the chassis are the same. However the GQ floor bulge to cover the gearbox is larger. I am not sure if the cab extension was on the series I GQ cabs but its on the series II`s. Gives a little more room over the MQ cab.

In regards to bolt points, basicly any ute cab will bolt onto any GQ, MQ Nissan chassis weather it is a leaf or coil cab.
How you would go with wagon and swb cabs ( apart from the front 4 bolt points ) I don`t know. I was only interested in ute cabs when I was looking to do my mods.

The only problem would be the MQ going onto a GQ as the gearbox hump is larger on the GQ.

I know they will weld together good! amd they are very close to the same size (MQute-GQ wagon)
This is what they look like welded together,
