It's probably fine. The last 1.6 EFI I did was in 2" with a offset/offset triple flow muffler and hot dog, with cat and extractors and it is nice and quiet until the driver is really pushing it hard and even then it's not at all offensive.

but yeh get a good muffler.

mines extractors - turbo muffler and thats it. noisy but sweet note when booting it.

I am looking to put another muffler or muff + resonator in after i put the airtank in.

2" and a decent set of extractors will make a nice improvement to driveability.
