This may assist. See what is similar on the TD kit and what you need to source for the remainder of your project.
Ideally you would try and locate an EFI intake manifold off the TB 4.2 EFI engine.

I have been seriously considereing turboing my gq petty for some time, basically it would be nice to have a power up when I get the comp truck back on the road so it tows more comfortably
in my research, i found that carb is very difficult to turbo and tune properly, one option is to run striaght gas with say a gas research carby, but gas limits you somewhat, and frankly having owned various lpg cars, the tank is a pita in terms of dual fual and also makes it somewhat difficult to tune in dual fuel.....running a turbo would make it harder, basically its hard to tune to run both fuels well, you have to tune to run one of the other, and then you have the car run like crap on the other fuel
options I have found, run say an eb ot similar falcon throttle body with an aftermarket computor such as a megaquirt. this option seems to be far easier to tune and can use the putor to run different setting at a click of the button if you get serious with the computor.
The next option is to run a manifold of an efi tb42 or the later tb45, both seem to bolt up with little problems, although in my searches they are relitvly hard to find and are quite exxy, add a loom to it and its worse, but you can go down the megequirt path with this option to.
havnt looked at RNs link, but there is a few really good threads on turbos on tb42 and 45s
best thing to do is do some resarch, make some phone calls and come back and ask questions to clarify and you will tend to get a far better response

ahhhh doing this to mine soon, running straight gas. the carby, as stated is shit, try running it blow through it will piss fuel everywhere. i like the idea of bolting up an e series ford throttle body to the carby intake, never thought of doing that. im going to run an impco 425 and an impco gas carbie, for straight gas. This i have worked out to be the easiest and cheapest option.

yeah the falcom throttleody is a good option methinks, try finding a wrecked one and get the sensors etc you need off it, I think you can get away with just airflow, but try reading up on the megasquirt forumcooki_monsta wrote:ahhhh doing this to mine soon, running straight gas. the carby, as stated is shit, try running it blow through it will piss fuel everywhere. i like the idea of bolting up an e series ford throttle body to the carby intake, never thought of doing that. im going to run an impco 425 and an impco gas carbie, for straight gas. btw I have seen the falcon throttlebody on a tb42 due to the owner having major probs getting the carby to run right, they used a bit of plate and made an adaptor for it, fitted very neatly

thats what i need to do, so i can fit the impco to it and run it blow through styleTiny wrote:http://www.msefi.com/index.php

AFAIK yes, because it runs an injector from a pump it regulates the fuel electronically based on airflow as opposed to the carby running by venturi. obviously that is irrelevent when running on gas, but as I understand it, it allows you to run duel fuel fairly effectivly with a turbo.....make any sensecooki_monsta wrote:thats what i need to do, so i can fit the impco to it and run it blow through styleTiny wrote:http://www.msefi.com/index.php
