what shocks do I need?

My 86 hilux is lifted 8 inches, has leaf springs and I do bugger all off roading, anyone know what shocks I need?

why? lifted 8 inches so it will drive like a pig on the black top cause you dont go offraod much? drop it back to say 2 inches and go to any shop and ask for 2 inch lift shocks for a solid axel lux.

A mate has hyundai excel shocks in his pulls it back to somewhere useable.

my hilux used to have about 9.5" lift and it actually drove alright on the road suprisngly.

i had twin ranchos in the front, and ranchos in the rear. springs were stiff as tho.

all gone now tho, previous owner did it all

It drives ok now, just abit of body roll, I think people tend to exsaturate on high lifted utes, my mates is lifted 12" and still drives ok.

Anyway ranco shocks eh? might go and check them out, what size do i need? ive looked all over mine and cant find any info or markings on them.
