100 Series Air Conditioner

Post by grungle99 »

Does anyone know the volume of Air Con gas in a 2000 model FZJ105. Need to re-gas it and would like to get it correct.

I am not going through an air cond place but a large diesel workshop (mates rates) hence need the number.

Thanks

Should be a sticker in the engine bay somewhere that says how much is needed, tho if the person knows what there doing they should be able to read the pressures to get it more accurate.

Re-checked and their is no sticker. Doing by pressure is the ideal i suppose. Reality is it is a regas unit for heavy diesel systems and hence they do them by wieght of gas. for instance a falcon (not sure what model) requires about 0.9 kg. I do not have access to a workshop manual so was chasing the info off someone who may know.

Cheers
