diff swap

Post by rigger329 »

Hi
I am looking at swapping the front and rear diffs in my 77 HJ45 for complete diff set up out of a 60 series, to have disc brake front end, etc

is this a simple task, remove old bolt in new
are the spring mount the same distances apart
what problems might i encounter

thanks ed

have a look on IH8MUD

The perches are different width and your going to need to mount one of the perches up the side of the diff pumpkin.

Its a good swap though
