Hiab Group hire in sydney ? ? or for hire ca$h.

Post by pongo »

I need to do an engine box change and have no concrete to do it.

Its an old cast iron diesel and cast iron box. ( MK patrol). I need to pull old one out first then remove new one from donor car and put in other one.

I was figuring of getting a hiab for a few hours to make life soo easy. wouldnt need to split motr/box.

Kennards want $329 for 4 hours or overnight. $412.00 for 24 hours.

Any one intrested? i have truck license so no probs. we can even get rid of a car or 6 too. Id only need it for about 2 hours max. we could do some major work in one day with a truck if we had it all ready to go.

On the other hand, any one on here have acess to a hiab??

I have one already and was a pita just to get it out of a chassis with no body.

Think about the time i will save, wont have to push cars around, split gear boxes etc. 1 whole day of ass busting vs a few hours with a hiab.

was a pita night mare just to change one of these gearboxes with a engine hoist. took 2 of us nearly all day.
