very tidy - must be country k's.... i bought my mazda 323 with high k's but it came from port hedland and did all country km... it was the tidiest and best running one i test drove - all the others had equivalent time of the engine running, but idling in traffic rather that cruising along - they all had weird noises and oil leaks!

if the price stays down itll get a very happy owner i'd say.

That's why i wish vehicles had an hour meter fitted to the engine also. In combination with the odometer, would give some good insight into the vehicles previous usage.

yeh i reckon hour meter would be a good idea but still nearly 400000 on a sierra 1.3 seems unbelievable it must be on its last legs mine went a 230 and my bros coily went a 99 thousand

Mine ran fine with no oil leaks or blowing smoke until 300,000 when I cracked the head. Was probably a bit of abuse that contributed to said cracked head though ;)

400,000ks is impressive though.....! :cool:

My first Sierra had over 300,000 when I bought it, was an 89 model rough life though rust and stuff that I had to fix up, once I fitted some extractors and exhaust system it went so much better I never had any issues with it.
..wrench, wheel, wreck repeat..

There was a guy up at Forster who had a Sierra with 400,000plus on it - changed ALL oils and filters, did a tyre rotation and general tighten up every 5000km. Used Lanolin all the time as it lived a fisho's life... probably still going strong.
He crossed the Nullabor twice in it, went to Tassie and up to the Cape... just he and his border collie and a swag.
DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender
