Uni joint sierra rear

Post by Turbo Tonka »

hi i have a 89 wt sierra but with a narrow track rear centre and rear half of the shaft. The unis a bit sloppy, and our local parts shop couldnt really be much help and had little idea.

i have one here part number:-KOYO RUJ 1783 it has 25mm OD cups and is external circlip and about 64mm across joint flat to flat.

both my nt and wt unis are eternal circlip and seem to be 25mm cup,are they the same?I havent pulled the other one out yet and would like to know first.thanks

All 1.3's are the same.

1.0's have internal clips.

AFAIK No they're not. The come out of the factory with the same uni throughout. the only difference is between 1.0 and 1.3.

:?:

Never, ever, seen different cap sizes. I've heard of the part listing for different caps for 1.3 sierras too, but I've never seen a 22mm cap in a car.

I've seen a LOT of sierras.
