60 series t/fer case

HI

Will the transfer case from a 1983 60 series, mount into the same standard position in a 1977 hj45 or will i have to reposition the mounts

If you are talking about the transfer case only there is no mounts.There is also no tail shaft hand brake drum on the transfer case.If you are talking about the gearbox and transfer case together.Then there is issues.Ohh man are there issues.Unless the bell housing of the H gearbox matches the gear box of the 2h gearbox out of the 60 series.

his would be a 2H

only the early 4x series had the H
