It's called economics
That $78 dollar sheet did not cost just $78
First somebody had to get on the phone and order it
Then there is delivery
He needs insurance since you may stub your toe picking the said steel up
If he bends it up you are looking at not cheaper than $40/hr (hourly rate plus workercomp plus super plus sundries)
His employees feel compelled to take every sickie they are entitled to (he still has to pay them despite them making him no money for that day)
These same employees expect toilet paper and soap (which they steal)
The workshop needs electricity and water which need to be paid for
He needs contents insurance in case your there casing the joint
His equipment has wear and tear and breakdown requiring maintainance
Theres the girl in office who answers the phone and does the wages, she wants to be paid too.
That receipt you got didn't print itself for free either

So the bottom line is if somebody else does something for you, as way of their business, there is associated expenses which you as a purchaser are expected to contribute too.
They are in business not charity
now your just being a twat

as stated down lower all those expences are payed for by the orignal person that the sheet was purchested for

and to make money of selling something that is already sold is unfair

now dont get me wrong we all like money
but rember when you are in a bind in the bush and that bloke that you riped off RE SELING that bit of sheet to tells you to go f#@k your self
it will be $2000 to get you out
because
1. what if i trip over and hurt myself (thats $200 for insurance)
2. i will were my winch / snach out (thats $350 for winch reco)
3. were and tear ($500)
5. and i need to make a profit ($950) as i want to rip you

all i am saying is we should help one another out a 4wding is already costly enuf.
so because hes got some sheet there that owes him nothing, he is supposed to give it to you for free, some random wanker that walks in off the street, probably never given him any work before, probably wont again, and just charge you a minimal charge for folding it up for you?

Yeh, right.

Mate looking interests makes me think that you wouldn’t help some one out if your life depended on it

(Fining asshats that drive around with empty rod holders. And no mudflaps!)

Yet this is a public forum so I guess that your opinion is acceptable
If my life depended on it, I would be helping myself out, not them.

As for the interests thing, that was a joke from a while back.
