Re: bar designs
They aren't cheap, the price of steel is BS ATM.stilivn wrote:STRUTH just out of interest how much it cost you to knock that up, you wouldnt have any drawing designs or a break down of how you built it, looks really nice, wouldnt mind something like that on my 80 series.
And yes I have drawings, they're mine too
Cheers, I was pretty stoked with the lines of the bar once it was painted and on, I like to think it is basic but stylishjessie928 wrote:mate as much as i am not a fan of those trucks, that front bar looks ACE.Struth wrote:I knocked this one up just in time for my xmas trip
sleek, smooth and functional, well done!
Jes
Well PMs don't seem to be working ATM so for those who asked,
Price for a bar to suit 4 Runner/Hi lux would be $795.00 including fitting, indicators, wiring of indicators and any required bolts.
50% deposit required to start the job (sorry about that but I can't afford to buy steel I don't need).
Price for other vehicles would alter depending on the quantity of tube required/complexity of mounting.
It has been my experience with 4 Runners at least that vehicles of the same model do not always have the same chassis dimensions and vary by up to 5mm on some critical bar mounting dimensions.
I would need the car over at my place for an hour or two to measure up prior to starting and for about 4 hours in the middle of the job to assist with lining everything up prior to welding. (these would be Saturdays or after work)
Again for a couple of hours for final fitting.
Not too bad a price me thinks
pm if you are interested, if I don't reply it will be because PMs aren't working so post up otherwise.
Cheers
