Hi all,
Jeez I've been on here a bit lately I really need to get a life!
I know it's a bit trivial, but...
I'm wondering where people put their fire extinguisher in their 'Lux?
It's a '93 dual cab.
At the moment I'm looking to put mine on the floor just in front of the passenger seat, but worried that will affect access.
(in the area badly circled below)
That way it is close to hand if needed and the seat is still able to be moved all the way forward.
I can't really think of anywhere else suitable.
Advice/pics?
Cheers

Thanks for the advice.
Well, job done.
Took all of 20 mins (including a delay after breaking a drill bit and having to find another one )
My first hard core rock crawling mod
No worries for ingress or egress, as tested on a drive to the pub.
Does not interfer with seating position or get hooked up with the passengers feet with the seat fully forward or back.
Ok I'll go away now, sorry for wasting your time! My god I need to get a life

I had mine screwed through the floor pan on the passenger rear along the door edge- i havent put it back yet though after the rebuild... will probably happen when i rip the carpets back up to re-do the underlay/modify the sound system again...
2005 HDJ100 Manual, ARB bar, XD9000 winch, ARB rooftop tent + awning, Drawers, Engel, 2" OME lift, 285/75R16 KM2's, iCom, HID XGT's.
I've mounted mine to the floor just below the RH side of the back seat. (If you can picture this, it's parallel to the sill, but back between the seat and the door. With the door closed, you can't see it on the inside, but is obvious with the door open.) It's a 1.5kg dry powder from memory.
I'll take some pics of it and post them up.
It doesn't foul on the door, and doesn't get in the way of passengers. Mounting it in front of the front passenger seat, I found it limited the forward movement of the seat, and too far forward, it was a pain.
I'll move my car out so I can open the back door tomorrow arvo.
