I could not imagine why a welded diff is good.
Obviously not - you're in terrain where you can't see a massive advantage in lockers full stop.
I have and have had cars with twin selectable lockers, but my sierra was welded rear and is now spooled rear and the benefits more than weight up the downsides.
Downsides - It screws itself downhill a bit on side angles.
That's the only one I can think of.
It's dynamite on fast dirt and maintenance free.
In my case it's not $$ - I've got plenty of money in my driveline - but for me a spooled rear is really the best option.

What I meant by asking complete strangers was more to do with just asking for mod recommendations based on no actual input or requirements given. He has a vehicle that is setup quite well and would suit most 4wding. So what's the problem, why the need for more mods? without any actual info to gauge a reason for further mods what s the point asking strangers with the result being a whole host of random answers that could do more harm than good in the long run
