guys, do it sooner. I think if you built this up for 9 months it is gonna turn into a much bigger affair than what Cal will want there..(and if you see this place, you will instantly know that it is the venue you want) the weather stays good untill about early May...

I'm keen if it's for later in the year, to many things on over easter weekend, would rather have it on any 'normal' weekend during any of the school holidays(ie take a few day's off work to suit).

Competitions are fine, but I'd prefer to see awards for 'participation' (eg best carnage/hardluck etc). After all, I figure anyone who is prepared to 'have a go' is already a winner........

Anyhow, back to your regular programming, I've gotta get back to the shed.....

Okay, I've read over everything so far and there seem to be a few clashes of ideas, but the jist so far is as follows:

1. Suzuki / Suzuki Based Vehicles only (so LJ's, Jimny's, Vitaras, Sierras etc are all fine).

2. It is going to be held in Berridale over a weekend (Sat and Sun + either a Fri or Mon i gather).

3. It will be an un-structured camping weekend, without any sort of competition format.

4. Dewse will bring fairy bread if grimbo will let him ride shotgun.

5. The weekend to be chosen should be before May if we want to have good weather up there.

Does that meet everyone's ideas about what this is going to be?

I like the way you have taken over the organisational duties very nice makes it nice easy from my point of view. ;)

I was thinking the actual thing for want of a better word would be on the weekend and the Friday & Monday would be for the getting there and back days for want of a better term :D

Fair enough - so a full 2 day event there, with a day either side for travelling... sounds like people are going to need plenty of notice to book in that sort of time mate... get to it! :)

Some dates would be good, give ppl like me bazooked time to book our flights.... And to prepare the fairy bread.

Hey bazooked we should have our own weekend in WA to harvey or something.

Keep up the good organising guys.

I realise dates would be good but this whole thing is about 24 hours of thought so far. I am trying to get a few details sorted but I'm sort of making this up as i go. As I want to be there i have to sort a few things out as well. Don't worry we will have dates soon.

Is Tuff Truck definetly happening? If it is May might be a problem for a few people to take time off so close to each other or maybe we do it during the week after Tuff trucjk and combine the two

Well, besides setting a date with the property owner - what other organising do we need to get done?

i.e. bbq / kitchen setups? portaloos / showering facilities?

What else do we need to organise?
