I don't think they give out results? some competitors didn't like sponsors knowing how they went....

Mate, it was stated at the start of the weekend.

The money that would have gone to overall round trophies is instead being put towards overall end of year prizes.

Patrol to Pathy is corerect on the Trophies.

And IF you read the entre form on the bottom there is a tick box RE:Publishing of results. My guess is the person that has the result is busy. BUT has anyone checked the Tough Tracks website?

If anyone wants a private shoot before the comp starts (or after) come let us know! It wont cost you anything for the shoot and we'll have price lists and a display of the prints you could get if you want any.

Looking forward to some great action again! Oh and I've ordered some fine weather for the weekend so we should be right now! :D:D
Hey Tim and Angie

I would rather overall place trophies than for individual tracks, and the club would only have to purchase 3 trophies instead of 9 for each class.

But as I have learned in the past having a winge on here gets you no where, if you really want people to listen to your input you should go to a club meeting.

That would'nt be much fun now would it sloshy,
Just because i am running out of shelf space for tough tracks trophys it doesnt meen we should not get them for driving tracks better than others.
I was even thinking of building a big new glass case to put them all in. :D :D

HOLY $HIT!!!!!!
i just read rule revision 3.3.3...........................
1 wheel outside of the direct line from cone to cone  DNF... Faaaaaaaark.

then i checked some of the event photos? every rig would be dnf'ed....
how does that work? or is it not really a rule? or one of those 'bendy' rules?

(sorry if i am mistaken on this! just wondering if i had understood it wrong)

where did you read this Greg?

If that is how it is written then it is a mistake. the rule is: more than 1 wheel outside the track. meaning that you need to have 3 wheels on the track at all times.

Your overall performance over the 9 tracks for the whole year is a better indicator of endurance. The 'end of year' trophies & prizes in 2008 was fairly lean. The club decided to improve this for 2009 hence we dropped the overall trophies for each round. Maybe, in future years, they can be re-introduced.

Keep in mind that it doesn't always have to be a club or committee member that finds the sponsors and makes the negotiations. If any-one out there can present the club with a sponsor who wants to sponsor the overall trophies for each round, then please get in contact with the club. It is one thing to 'whinge your heart out' it is another to offer a solution.

Your welcome to come to a club meeting - just try to bring a prospective sponsor with you.
