2000 GU will a 4.2 mate up to a 3 litre box?

Post by YOTATIM »

I am new to the forum and have been reading intresting articles.
Just wondering if any one can tell me if a 4.2 will mate up to a 3 litre manual box or are the boxes different. I am over the ZD30 and the problems I keep fixing. Any help would be grand.
If you dont get through the first time you were'nt goin hard enough!!

only difference is a 50mm spacer on the bellhousing, i cant remember 100% if its removable but i have a feeling it might be, so it will be worth looking in to before buying a new bellhousing

Buy a rolled GU 4.2, and then you have everything you need.
