Logan challenge.Three car teams have a look on the logan challenge thread for the vehiocle requirments you don't NEED huge lift and huge tyres its more of a thinking event with some good driving stages as well.get on the springs website and have a look at the pics from the last two years. .if you are also interested you can help in officialing in the event one year see what it's about then compete the next.Thats what i did originally and never looked back.heaps of fun.hope this helps in what you are after

i stuck a cage in my daily driver and raced the allterrain at cruiser for 3 years. drove it home everytime except for the last time as we couldnt be bothered changing wheels. heaps of fun.
cityview trails no cage event was heaps of fun as well. it will be a diff truck this year but as i am building a new daily driver so the bus's fate is sealed now. :D :D

heaps of fun to pick kids up from school, take em racing and drive it home. if you do a bit of wheeling a cage is cheap insurance for your head.
only the first roll hurts, then its a ride..

Go to the forum link, there is a complete list of events listed in there, including compeitions and club social outings. Next comp is June 20th weekend roughly I think.

What setup have you got on your patrol? You will need some lift and 33's as a minimum so you don't wreck your 4x4. Wagon or SWB? Roll bar not required for trophy class. Is a good comp, fairly relaxed and everyone gets along and has fun.

Sounds like you're ready to go mate. You will need a window net on drivers door, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and some recovery gear. Check out the rules on the web site for full requirements. If in doubt call Peter Kitchen at Redlands 4x4 as he scrutineers the cars. You should actually call him prior to the comp anyway to make sure there isn't any problems. You can also post questions on the tough tracks forum, they will get answered fairly thoroughly.

35's prevents you from competing in trophy class,
they put you in the next class in witch i think you need a cage etc

open to be corrected tho

The rule states "Rollover protection" which i think is a bit open. It's in everyones best intrest if it is caged, no one wants to see you squash your head.
