Missing link suspension
Missing link suspension
does any one know much about this set up and does it work / is it worth the effot
Alot of guys in the US use it but it seems to work best with heavier toyota or Jeep diffs and huge tyres to get the benifit of the "missing link" or drop shackle. It's really just an easy way for them to fit longer YJ jeep leaves in to gain flex. This lot do a YJ kit bolt on without missing links http://www.rocky-road.com/ but there have been some reports of them having dodgey service but afaik the parts are top notch you just might have to wait a while for them, locktup4x4 can help you source their gear. If you look on http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/ in the suzuki section you'll see alot of rigs running missing links but you'll also notice they have dana diffs and 36"+ tyres.
