Suzuki heights to base of door handle

Post by zookprojectfnq »

If any one is walking past or owns a stock swb sierra. Can you measure it from the ground to the bottom of the door handle please.
Just trying to work out height over standard since Ruff and 3/4 elliptical rear.
thank you

Try these:

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic7630.php

Im not sure if there is much in the way of stockers in those 2 threads. If not I have a close to stock Sierra at home that would give a reasonable indication (it has 27" tyres on, but has sagged springs so should be close). Let us know if those threads are no good.
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.

no its outerlimits ensuring it can remain open and actually cover its costs. Remember this is a privately run site that is hosted and run by Carl and his trusty band of moderators. Not a commercial site

Any way

The height to the base of my door handles is 1130mm or 44.5"
Just trying to work out actual lift over stock as I got over excited and started tinkering before I gave it a measure to work out progress. I think its about 5" - 6 " over stock but not sure.
Still sprung under with stock suzi WT diffs . Flexes like a bastard but.
Will post pics after I weld in the inverted rear shock mounts in when they get here from locktup.

The old Suzuki lean.

I use to have that problem real bad but the beauty of 3/4 elliptical is that you can run standard weight springs and still have lots of flex too.

And you can play with it to even out the height ;)
