If all is perfect "as in" NO!! wear in your bushes and chassis , or tie rod ends on both drag link and tie rod then look at your caster, this is a very common problem area.

Yes if i had 50 bucks for every guy who come in with caster plates on 2 inch lifts ( cause it has sagged or coils changed or they dont know any better ) i could make another set of radius arms for nothing!Z()LTAN wrote:the castor has to be at least 4deg out for it to be the root of the problem.

check the panhard rod bushes & the panhard rod ends can go oval. try removing the bottom swivel bearing shims that has worked for me in the past aswell. caster will go positive when lifting wich will cause twitchy stearing negative caster will cause better straight line driving but less turn in abillity
drop boxes
have u tried drop boxes
first thing to do is get someone inside the vehicle gentley rocking the steering from side to side while you have a look at all the links in the steering. This has happened to me and after a look the play was coming from the chassis end of the panhard, good bushes but the bolt that holds it in was moving due to wear in the hole. I shimmed it as best as I could and then welded a little tab that keeps the bolt pushed hard against the side of the hole, has worked great. But thats the place to start before you start fretting about castors etc. Also if that doesn't show anything up jack ya front wheels off the ground and pull at the top and bottom of the tyre for play in your wheel bearings also as mentioned this is a good time to inspect your tyres for bulge, pressure, dings in the rim etc. good luck
