75 series body lift

Hey guys, im going to put a body lift into my troopy (94 hzj75) to clear some 35 inch tyres. I was going to go 1 inch because it should go in easy. But just for the sake of asking, as anyone done a 2 inch body lift on one ( im guessing there is a heap of yous) and what issues you ran into if any such as fuel filler been too short, or the gear shifters fouling and popping out of gear (happened on my old paj).

If they go straight in I might think about the 2 inch body lift. I am also installing anti inversion shackles which will lift the rig another inch so I dont want to end up with the rig wanting to tip over ( which is why Im thinking about only doing a 1inch body lift.
Jabber gone. Now have 98 nissan terrano and a 94 4.2ldiesel rv troopy on 33s slowly getting the fancy bits. How the hell do I change my user name?

2" fits just fine. Just have to adjust your steering, and drop your radiator and remove bottom of shroud. Also have to cut a bit out of your transfer and gear stick hole to engadge propperly.

Being a troopy though you MAY have to check your fuel cap pipe.

Thats about all I had to do to my 75 ute.
I didn't have to move the radiator down just had to trim the shroud also watch the power steering hose from the reservoir as it stretches.

I don't think it would be too much differnt from a ute.

watch your heater hose as it goes through the fire wall it pulls on the heater tap

I did a 2 inch on my 75 ute. Just redrill the radiator shroud 2 inches down from the original holes and trim a little off the bottom where the bottom hose goes through and simply put it back on. Tooo easy..Dont cut it up as it will reduce its overall affect.

As for the gear lever its only the hi/low shifter. Just remove it and heat it up with an oxy and bend it a little backwards and it will work fine.

DONT cut youre floor ....it will look crap and invite rust.

1 inch and 2 inch are the same amount of work, might as well go 2 inch.

I just cut the pipe and added a small join in between them for the fuel filler neck (i.e. cut it on the straight section and got a radiator connection piece from a radiator shop) then I put that in and hose clamped the filler hose to each end of it. You could use anything i.e. a bit of gal pipe or a proper pipe joiner.
hands and mums dont count!!!
