I don't think that would happen much.

I got pulled home by a Hilux when I had a Rangie although the Hilux took the chicken track and I still had stock diffs which both broke due to my heavy right foot and rush of blood (Twice).

If a Landrover is setup for wheeling then they are every bit as capable as a Patrol and you will find pics of them pulling each other out.

Years ago the best club truck we had was a rangie re powered with a Toyota 4.2 turbo diesel running front/rear lockers and with GQ diffs...and only on 31's. That vehicle went places

I've probably got some of the other way around. I've got heaps of pulling Toyotas out and even having to tow one of the farkers home on a trailer cause it busted its shit.

All on standard Rover axels :D

You'll probably find more pictures of Rovers on the back of tow-trucks, not so much as getting pulled from a bog.

PS. Where's the tech at??? Possibly a thread for the Chit Chat section....

My Landy has never had to be pulled out of anything. I have in fact pulled out a 80 series and a Patrol from a track I got up first go. You have obviously never driven a Landy :) We just got back from a 2000k trip pulling a 1200kg Jayco Swan and never missed a beat.

We have recovered many broken defenders, disco's and rangies.

I have never been recovered by any of them.

Don't get me wrong, rovers are like jeeps, awsome cars once all the stock crap gets replaces with aftermarket or different manufacturers components.
