Sounds just like last years effort. Im shocked that thing breaks at all concidering how well it gets treated :D
Gonads has got nothin..Sean caned the absolute piss out of that thing..made Gonads look like he wears a skirt
Shane's right we did break a few things:

- Rear Outter + inner + R&P first track (CTM uni didnt break), Unfortunately my CTM axles werent ready in time so I put in some cheap Indian made chromo axles that obviously arent upto the task (although they have a lift time warranty) :?

- Fuel pump died in the Rock Garden plus we smashed the windscreen :x

- Rear Outter and Inner just when they stopped me climbing the rocks in the mud :bad-words:

As for driving style and entertainment I had big shoes to fill, the funny thing is I had to move the seat back 150mm from last year :) . I didnt feel we push FT to hard as it has been driven harder since last years TTC, at the end of the day is was just a poor quality batch of axles.

TTC is all about entertainment and if we enter next year the only thing we will do different is to run the best axles ie CTMs. What we did was fun and my only gripes was the mud and having to run windscreens. Thanks goes to Tony & Steve for all there effort and help.

Gloves only have to be worn when handling recovery gear. although I prefer to wear them moving rocks, it is not compulsory. Seems to me Tazz doesn't need to replace his too often,

Engineering & Show n Shine was scored in the Show n Shine Area at the same time, they had a group of guys that walked around inspecting each vehicle. I think there were 2 or 3 guys scoring each, They each had a sheet with areas to look at & score out of 10 for each area, then the results would have been tallied up & combined.

I think the engineering show and shine should be the competitors vote.

Go the mud-drag next time

they should have a look at the darwin mud drags and make it more like that, resonably hard pack bottom, fair bit of water, have two identical tracks side by side, and time drag each other, awsome for the spectators and great fun for the drivers too!

My understanding is that 2010 is the same as this yr.
but the guards might change a tiny bit.
2012 may see a new set of rules.
