Wot gears would u suggest???

Post by ZookiDave »

do u think it worth getting a set of 6.5:1 gears worth 900 and getting the case ground out, or spending 1250 on a set of calmini's that are claimed not to need the case ground?

all feed back welcome.

Dude, get the 6.5-1 gears they are well worth it, depending on your setup.

Oh also, quit the text speak - Use real words, not alpha-numeric crap.

I have TG 6.5:1 gears and I love them!

Don't let the case grinding scare you - it's a super easy job!

you don't get all bearings and gaskets in a 6.5 gear set ether. i think that
loctup4x4 still have trans case rebuild kits for under $200.

6.5 for sure. I have 5.14 Calmini's, and my brother has the 6.5's. If he doesnt use his car much soon i will have the 6.5's ;)

As Greg said, get a rock toy ring and beef the mounts when you do it. You will need it

rocklobster gears are stock suzuki gears just from different models.
all that needs to come out off the case is a tiny little nick it took about 10sec
with a dremel to do my case. it really is nothing to stress about.
