Hi guys,
I've had my 31's on my vit for about a year now, and although I've adjusted my driving style to suit the new dynamics, the fact that it doesn't stop as quick is not comforting. Has anyone upgraded their brake systems to account for bigger wheels? Surely anyone running anything bigger than 31's would have to consider it. I I was wondering how you went about it, ie. Different disks, different pads, different master, booster etc.
Cheers

The lwb 1.6 has vented fronts and bigger calipers and bigger rear drums which you can swap on to a swb. If you want even more on the front and are willing to run 16"rims then the 2.0 Vits have even bigger fronts.
I haven't personally checked it myself but the 2.0 Vits may also have a biggger master cylinder and/or brake booster that may be worth swapping in.

booster & master cylinder on my j20a vitara, it's not the best pic... i think it's bigger than the 1.6 vitaras as the 1.6 also have a battery in there also & there isn't that much room on mine.
