Wiper arm bushes 60 series

Post by foster_the_fat »

G'Day,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get new plastic bushes for the wiper arm on a 60 series landcruiser (where it fits onto the wiper motor). I have searched here and there are a couple of good posts about the problem, which is how I worked out what I need, but it doesn't say who might supply these things. They hold the wiper arm onto the motor but mine are stufed and it slips off. There was someone on here selling them but have been unable to contact him.

Cheers,
Dave

http://www.toyodiy.com/

Find the part number on that site, then ring up and ask.

If not I know All Fourx4 Spares here in Newcastle sell them off the shelf.

Thanks for the assistance. I had written toyota off based on the other threads on this subject, but I called them today and they do sell the bushes but only with the arm or rod. They do this in pieces though, so I ordered the LHS one that hooks up to the motor for $77 which isn't too bad. Thanks again,

Dave

your lucky, for the 4runner they will only sell you both arms and the swivel as one piece for about $300

That's what I expected them to say. Couldn't believe it when he said they sell single linkages, and not too expensive.
