vibrations clicks and rattles

Post by REDNUT »

ive got a new probablem...

93 turbo diesel pajero 5 speed LWB

when i release my clutch to drive there is a knock, then when im accelerating ive got rattles, sounds like a bearing on the way out, there seems to be a little bit of play in the yoke on the tailshaft or maybe the output bearing on the gearbox is stuffed

when i get to about 85 -90 there is a good vibration through the car, not in the steering wheel mainly in the floor,

checked all the bushes in the car, gearbox crossmember mount look like crap, and front drivers side right at the very front, think it was the diff mount is a little shagged aswell

anybody know anyone in brisbane who is good with these things,

its my daily driver so i cant really afford to have it off the road long
