Where in WA to get a gearset machined up
hey guys i need to get a high range gearser machined up as mine is blown, and finding another transfer case is impossible.
question is who in wa has the machining facilities to manufacture a couple of gear cogs?... im getting desperate here and need to find a solution so i can get my project happening
putting in another transfer case is out of the question at this stage.
for anybody's reference the transfer case is out of a daihatsu f50 scat, but that shouldnt make a difference to the person making the gearset:P
cheers dave

i have just had a gear cut quite cheap for a custom winch. the gentlemans name was Milan, from Darex engineering in Rowville, Vic. He is very competant but half the price of the large companies with 30 management staff to support.
03 97622480
he also does a lot of seemingly impossible repair work for the company i work for.

its nto cheap by anymeans and depends on the type you want cut and the accuracy and the material.
you can do one offs with a milling machine but arnt the best of things
this is where your cheap ones normally come from
