Raising the Raider
I want to put 34" tyres on the Raider. The std tyre size by the placard is 225/80/15. Would a 2" body lift give enough clearance? (yep know the tyre is more than 2" larger but all the same..... 

If it's like other IFS set-ups the real issues are with clearance to the front suspension/steeringchassis bits and to the firewall/front guard area at full compression and/or full lock. May need to look at getting some new rims with less backspace to allow clearance to the suspension/steering/chassis, but not too much as you may find you have to "caress" the guards and firewall too much to fit the new tyres (can interfere with accelerator pedal travel). Note the clearance to your chassis rails as well.
Lifting is only of use if you can get around all of the above probs, as ultimately at full compression you will experience these probs anyway. (easy way to rip lugs off tyres)
Worthwhile speaking to someone with a bit of knowledge of steering geometry as significant increases in tyre size and changes in backspacing can upset handling significantly giving you the "death wobbles" at speed(something to do with kingpin angles and scrub radius)

Yeah I would say at least a 2' body lift (don't go any higher) and a 2" rear spring lift and crank the torsion bars.
You could cut the guards for extra clearance and put on the Bushranger flares.
Remember the higher you go up the wider you should go. I got 15x8" rims ROH Trac 2 which have a wider offset than standard and help balance the higher COG.
I don't know how strong the Mazda IFS is but it takes a beating with a 2" lift and big (33" +) tyres so be prepared for replacing stuff more than expected. But when you can climb that big arse ledge it's makes it all VERY WORTHWHILE............................

Track may be a problem. NSW is limited to 25mm (1").
