Dozens of threads on it on here
mulisha had a thread with links off it, as did raptorthumper, (his was 4.5 but had links off it)

I didn't think you could put a turbo on a 4.2 petrol.bogged wrote:http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/phpBB2/search.phpROBHARRIS wrote:Any advice or direction would be thankful

TB42 EMS injection, T04 turbo air/water IC, 150hp NOS fogger system, makes ~340hp at the rear wheels on the juice!!!!

How do you know its his car??macneil wrote:wtf would you want nos for in a 4by.. i dont see no 1/4mile runs in the bush.. u the guy that had the nos tank leak in a event a while back?
There's more than one comp truck with NOS. Why?? Think big hill climbs, mud drags, Special Stages etc etc. Given that rock crawling probably wouldn't require NOS, i think you'll find that it would be more than handy in OBC and similar.
We have played with one TB42 carby petrol and it went very well. It does require that a Holley carby be fitted as there is no practical way of getting a vacuum secondary carby to work under boost. The Holley carby is fine in low boost applications, we never tried it with LPG as well but there is no reason it couldn't be done provided you are modest in your expectations. The duel fuel systems are power limiting due to there restriction, today I re-tuned a TB42 that had an impco 300a, it was a fresh motor with a cam shaft we supplied. The vehicle went from 81 rwkW on petrol (through a mixer) to 103 rwkW with the stock air cleaner.
EFI of course is better. Duel fuel with aftermarket EFI and a Gasresearch throttle body using a duel advance as available in any late model Wolf, Motec, Haltech ECU is really good when done right.

well i just dont see the point in having that much power come on like it does.. if you loose traction then your not going any faster on a big hill climb your going to slow down same with mud drags.. you wont have the traction for speed, Why do you think they need traction in circuit racing.. most drag cars that run nos have slicks low tyre pressure and a nice sticky road to get the power down..coxy321 wrote:How do you know its his car??macneil wrote:wtf would you want nos for in a 4by.. i dont see no 1/4mile runs in the bush.. u the guy that had the nos tank leak in a event a while back?

what is up your ass mate it was a fucking question hence the question marks '??'
i heard from someone that a comp trucks nos tank leaked in the cab and the driver passed out is it so bad to ask he didnt have to answer i never said it was HIS car i asked if it was..
and no i obviously dont understand comps.. i thought that getting traction to get through a hard obstical as quickly aspossible with the most damage was the point but obviosly loosing traction and destroying a track possibly ur car is the point.

i think you'll find the tone of his reply was due to the tone of your question. Do unto others my friend.
