Hi is it, or is there a way to have a 6 point cage and 4 point harnesses legal to drive in Queensland on the road.??

Why would you want to?

Driving in a harness (even 4 point) is bloody uncomfortable. for a harness to do it's job in a crash, you have to have it fairly tight. Normal retractable seatbelts are the best bet for on road use.

a mate is running both cage and harnusses cage is blueplated and harnusses are removable for comp use only, uses normal seat belt for onroad, fuck puttin them on every time u get in n outa the car

u can mod plate the cage. but u can not mod plate harness's u can have them but cant use them on road u can only have harness's approved pre 1960 something i forgot the rules i have cage and harness's in a street all legal a few yrs back.

ive got a gq with a 6 point cage i aregenaly had 4 point harnesses and it was a shit of a thing. i am runing 94 honda prelude seats that the top half have been strengthend and the arigional seat belts and i think that is a much better way to go. its not a comp truck it is just for play

we have just built a gq for the new production class,where vechicles have to comply with road rego rules, for offroad you need the cage & harnesses, for on road we use the standard factory sash seat belts & secure the harnesses behind the seat, Isuppose we gotta keep the RTA & boys in blue happy
