Mq/Mk 5 speed with divorced transfer
Mq/Mk 5 speed with divorced transfer
Could someone please tell me if a 5 speed gearbox was ever available with an L28 that used the divorced transfer? Or was it only 4 speeds?
Re: Mq/Mk 5 speed with divorced transfer
fairly confident it was only early 4 speed wagons in divorced....302MQ wrote:Could someone please tell me if a 5 speed gearbox was ever available with an L28 that used the divorced transfer? Or was it only 4 speeds?
Im nearly 100 percent that all 5 speeds were with a transfer attached as they are longer then the 4 speed by a fair amount and a divorsed setup wouldnt be practical, and would be tight even under a wagon.
I may be corrected though.... some imports might be different, as might some P40 wagons from europe or even around Aus.....
screwy
