Flexy leafs for GU ute.

Post by GeeUte »

Where the hell do you get soft flexy leaf springs for the back of GU utes ?

Is there even such a thing ?

All i can find is heavy duty springs!

Apart from getting a custom job made up is there any one who does make them in various load ratings ?

If you want really soft flexy ones, I'd say you'll have to go custom.

Otherwise I'm pretty sure Old Man Emu come in a medium duty as well as a heavy duty.

Or you could start pulling some of the shorter leaves out of the ones you've got now, that should make them more flexy. I haven't done it, but I've heard of it being done.

hay, I own a gq with leaves. i took 3 or 4 leaves out of the rear to get better flex, just watch you dont take too many out because you'll run out of thread on the U bolts and then things get dodgy.
