Where to get carpet for Wrangler

Post by matsmad »

I have contacted half a dozen companies on moulded carpet for the TJ Wrangler. Nobody does it. Who does???

G'day if you type "jeep wrangler tj molded carpet" into google you get hits from the usual suspects... JC Whitney, Quadratec, and a bunch of other hits. As you would expect they are all US companies.

I don't know what state you are in and who you have tried but there are Jeep specialists in most states. Wooders is on this BB and may be able to help. www.wooders.com.au I imagine it is something that may have to be brought in for you next shipment?

You could always buy yourself from the US but carpet sounds bulky ;)

edit : sorry see now you are in QLD. I'd try Wooders anyway. TW at USA4x4 in Melb would be worth checking with too.

cheers

x2, i've purchased from both wooders and quadratec (us website) and they're both great to deal with. Wooders offers local warranty & service though. ;)

So what do you prefer?

Original style?

Tufted Polypropylene carpet with electronically surged edges that will not unravel?

Plush deep pile carpet?

Molded Vinyl?

Take your pick ;)
Remember it ain't no crappy toyota where you struggle to find aftermarket parts, it's a wrangler and they have more aftermarket parts available than any other 4wd on the planet :)

Matsmad, contact Wooders directly or any of the others. "Special order" stuff probably won't be on any Aussie website. cheers Matt
