I paid 2k for a fairly bare cab when I converted my wagon.

In hindsight, I regreted it, while the ute cab has advantages, its cramped - even wtih the big bubble cab version, reclining the drivers seat to a position I found comfortable wasnt an option and the lack of storage space for stuff you dont want to put on the tray gets old real quick.

I've since bought another wagon and appreciate it a lot more after having had the ute....
If I was to do it again, I would definetly go for an extra cab.

G'day,
i bought an 88 cab chassis off ebay for $2600
it came with a yella terra charger, 33's and a custom tray.
obviously it was a little rough but cab is rust free
so there are cheap ones out there
