Instrument cluster in 90's Hilux

Post by tez »

Hi all,

Ive got a 92 dual cab Hilux and it has the instrument cluster with the tacho, speedo, temp and fuel guage.

If I find a instrument clister with the oil pressure and voltmeter, will it bolt up and work? I was about to fit a aftermarket oil pressure guage but thought original would be much better.

you'll need to change the sensor for the oil gauge from a simple On/Off idiot light switch to the varying resistance sensor.

Get the dash from a surf 2.4TD, swap over your speedo (to keep your kms authentic) and grab the oil pressure sender while your in the wreckers.
