I vote locker.
have never owned a locker until recently when I purchased a patrol with a factory locker, and wondered how i went so long without it. can take obstacles a lot slower, safer and less breakages.

Anyone Regret Getting a rear Locker (Losing LSD)
Ha ha ha, yeh i have air lockers in the patrol.AFeral wrote: Even had one guy have a look for the locker switchs.
i have another 4by that i wanted to mod, the Mrs said' you're not spending more money and putting air lockers in that....' Sure I said.
She checks every now and then to see if I've fitted locker switches, and seems happy to see they're not there.
Should I tell her i put Detroits in it?

Air lockers all the way. Have seen to many lsd"s drop a wheel in a hole and spin the airborn wheel.
tried autolockers. great up the bush. Have there down sides on the road.
just a thort. Also building a street Car. was going to be full spool, But I've been talked into a detroit TRU-TRAC. I have been told they are a bullet proof LSD that is designed to never single spin. Not sure if they make them for a patrol but it would be worth looking into for those who don't like air lockers.
If they are as good as every1 tells me they are. I can't wait to get my car on the road. (If it ever happens)
